New Company Name?

Don’t know if it’s a good idea for Salesforce, but makes sense with all the product rollouts. I prefer something not including the ‘Agent’ descriptor.

Facebook became Meta four years ago largely because it envisioned an augmented reality strategy via the Metaverse. That hasn’t come to fruition, although the stock has skyrocketed.

Twitter became ‘X’ two years ago as part of an effort to build an everything app with the X moniker. The name change resulted in more losing than winning: ex-twitter migration.

Google introduced its parent entity name ‘Alphabet’ ten years ago: Alphabet The stock price also skyrocketed.

I worked at Accenture 10+ years after its name change from Andersen Consulting to escape the Arthur Andersen ties. It’s going strong twenty-five years later: 25th anniversary

My preference is keeping Salesforce as it is until the Agentforce product rollouts gain wider traction. In light of this rebranding topic, I’m looking at rebranding my website, along with my business.
