This is a snapshot of my Lightning experience. It’s 2020 and still, many Salesforce clients haven’t migrated from the old UI. The value is clear compared to many other enterprise-wide initiatives. Many tech projects are being postponed or being pared down in this COVID era.
Fortunately, Lightning Conversion is one of the most critical projects at large enterprises. It should have happened years ago, but now there isn’t an option. The old UI has been a pain point for Salesforce. It’s resulted in churn and replacement by cheaper more agile vendors. I’ve been part of this journey and continue to support Lightning Conversions. Salesforce is too big to fail.
