One of the hardest things to do right now is reading a book cover to cover.
Reading Awareness by Anthony de Mello: Link
An almost unknown unknown, this spiritual teacher influenced other teachers like Eckhart Tolle and Paulo Coelho. The secret to awareness (and happiness) might be focusing on the 80-20 rule by going inside: laying low and tending to those in our immediate gardens rather than shouting from mountains and across social media for unrealistic causes. The disclaimer here is to shout if it’s part of a job description and tied to one’s livelihood.
I would take it one step further and say 5% of causes generate 95% of results. Getting to that 5% takes an incredible amount of self-awareness.
Is it possible to generate results (of all sorts) while achieving peace of mind? Or is the key to peace just letting go of everything?
