Idea for SF’s homeless problem

Corporate buses solved the commuting challenge for thousands of folks.

How about solving the homeless crisis by using old naval ships? It worked during the Loma Prieta earthquake.

This would be a win-win. Help the homeless by centralizing their location in SF. Their concerns can be addressed in the same way an ER ward functions in a hospital. The ship becomes a staging environment.

‘Floating shelters’ would also keep dangerous transients out of the neighborhoods at night.
