“What is working?” and “what is not working?” are two questions that don’t get asked enough. Steve Jobs apparently asked these two questions a lot in order to frame a big picture understanding.
Too much gets brushed under the rug in order to preserve the status quo — whether the frame of reference involves global politics or company politics. Theater keeps the world turning. The script comes from social media. There are plenty of questions without answers.
I think these two questions (based on Steve Jobs’ approach) are worth self-reflection — so that you’ll be prepared to answer them (even if you are not asked).
Success deserves more collective attention. Reality can be painful, too. Why not put everything on the table? Radical candor spurs action.
