I hinted about Salesforce potentially acquiring Slack a couple of years ago. It’s finally happening now. I think Microsoft should acquire Salesforce. Why?

• Slack is a superior product to Teams according to Trustradius and G2 Crowd
• Salesforce CRM is superior to Dynamics 365 according to the same sources: Trustradius and G2 Crowd
• If we have a market correction, I expect lots of M&A in the CRM Cloud industry next year, similar to what happened in 2000. There are too many vendors doing the same thing.

My experience using Salesforce, Slack, Teams, and Dynamics mirrors hundreds of product reviews. It’s painful working with Teams and Dynamics 365. It’s a no-brainer for Microsoft to acquire Salesforce.
