Famed writer Don DeLillo began a writing career that freed him from the boredom of working as a parking attendant in his childhood. It’s much harder to write these days, but I think technology overload is invoking the same kind of boredom that allows for creativity. Putting something original down on paper or a computer screen is the best usage of the mind. I’m trying to get there.
