I asked the AI tool perplexity about what I should write about next.
This was its response:

So then, I asked it to write about the recommended topic:
“Write about how customer-centric thinking intersects with sustainability and climate awareness”

The post’s response prompted me to ask the AI to “write about the importance of companies attracting talent by being mission driven and focused on making the world a better place versus just being profit maximizers.”

In 5 minutes, I was able to generate quality content that would have taken much longer writing from scratch. I asked the AI if we still needed creative writing in the world.

Perplexity’s AI tool agreed that writing helps one create a personal voice in the world. The storyteller doesn’t need to get replaced.

The authenticity of writing is what attracted people to read in the first place. Writers found their voice and once wrote to make a buck. Now, nearly all the content including what’s found in bookstores may have been autogenerated.
Finding one’s voice is still life’s great passage. I’m a techno-optimist (as per the famous post by Marc Andreesen). AI and the latest technologies help humanity advance faster although not everyone is versed in this language. The key is to keep learning and using AI to stay ahead.
