Salesforce survey

This nonprofit survey by Salesforce was conducted in February just before Covid 19 took grip of the world. The tech projects which looked impossible to get off the ground due to budget or skills shortage deserve higher prioritization as a means to engage the community, donors, and skills-based volunteers.


An incredible subset of the population has bandwidth to do meaningful work directly or as a side hustle. Nonprofits just need to make the call. I get a lot requests for donations, but I’d like to see more requests to build something. Covid 19 offers opportunities to upgrade technologies and recruit a new generation of tech volunteers. Lots of key metrics in this survey help refine the tech roadmap for nonprofit leaders.
