San Francisco was a beautiful city. For decades it allowed for social entrepreneurism to keep up with capital actualization. I speak in past tense because it has become unlivable. Lawlessness prevails. Movers and shakers are moving out. It still attracts dreamers, but a permissive civic culture that focuses on handouts and get-out-of-jail cards will chase everyone away.
A city that defunds its police and endangers its population doesn’t deserve funding at all.
