A good book about Privacy by Carissa Veliz. She had an insightful interview on The Open Mind show. This is a bipartisan issue that deserves prioritization this year given the global political challenges.
Technology overtook our lives only in the last 15 years or so. The average member of Congress is much closer to retirement than the average superuser of the internet. Let’s get them to do something together as Carissa recommends for the sake of capitalism, freedom, and peace. I believe Big Tech wants to do the right things, but the U.S. government needs to create better guidelines to protect us.
