Attending this conference next week hosted by the City of San Jose. The confluence of tech innovation and civic leadership on the West Coast could yield some exciting AI-based solutions. The conference is supported by the public and private sectors (link).

Currently, governance and policy-setting using AI is top-down from federal and tech leadership. There’s never been a better time for regional and local leaders working in the public sector to speak up, share use cases, and promote socially responsible AI models using the latest technologies.

As the Texas economy rocks on, many stakeholders are deciphering the new AI Law (Traiga) going into effect on January 1, 2026.
