There was a fascinating Fast Company article surfaced by my Google News search. The article was fire-walled by the popular magazine. It’s one of my favorite magazines which I almost never read now.
I stayed hungry and remained foolish inferring the famous Steve Jobs quote. I found the word “Love” unveiled in various AI coding tools and LLMs (below). Some of these sources summarized the article brilliantly.
The problem has been known for some time. These tools can web-fetch content and load pages the way a basic browser would. The fact that nearly anything online can be uncovered so easily explains why paywalled magazines and newspapers continue to fail worldwide.
I don’t know if anyone who publishes anything (including the most trusted academic journals) will be able to lock their content down. The ubiquity of info is here to stay. The number of clicks to access it is going down. Getting content-related work done has never been easier.
Meta just announced Muse (https://ai.meta.com/muse/) a personal agent that enables tasks and completes them. The bigger question is, “what happens to the information world when agents can move forward with the next steps?” Anyone can take this Steve Jobs article for free and publish a presentation (in minutes). Or better yet, implement what Apple did with an AI-generated playbook —- activated by the agents themselves.
