Trashbots, an Austin tech startup founded by college kids, has raised a seed round. Their mission is to democratize access to STEM education with a low-code robotics platform. Too many youths struggle in an outdated U.S. educational system in desperate need of hyper-agile tools like this.
Outside of a traditional work career, I’ve helped bridge the digital divide by supporting nonprofits such as Build.org and Upwardly Global. The Trashbots platform fills a need not only in youth-focused EdTech but signals vast potential in the re-skilling of displaced and underemployed workers. You can order a kit here.
