Yoga at my local gym gets watered down to just random movements, sanitized with millennial music. It’s often led by an instructor who functions more like a nightclub DJ. There’s nothing wrong with consumer-focused yoga if it expands the audience and improves health outcomes. I wanted to learn the pure stuff (and get away from family 😬).
The Isha programs founded by Sadhguru have been on my mind during the pandemic. I’m not proficient at online learning of physical activities like yoga, golf, or tennis. I could have done this online but wanted to be closer to the source.
Glad to have found the Yogasanas course taught here in the beautiful hill country of Tennessee. It’s a boot camp to learn yoga in its purest form. No pain, no gain.
