Attended the Monthly Climate Leaders call hosted by my friend Marianna Grossman.
Presented my AI project. Learned about sustainability activities by change agents like Marianna.
In the tech world, the current modus operandi is much like Mark Zuckerberg’s famous quote. Zuckerberg just rolled out a personal assistant agent called Muse that’s taking some of the oxygen from other AI leaders.
AI adoption is spreading, but the long term benefits are unclear. The ramifications to the environment seem dire. The upside is a brand new world economy with unstoppable growth, a cure for deadly diseases like cancer, and commuter trips to the Moon and Mars. The downside is a human-engineered apocalypse with the help of AI.
I got to share what I built using Replit.com (see attached). Marianna details updates from others in the notes below. Now is the time to dive into the AI world and demystify what’s going on.

Next month, Malcolm Knapp from Finding the Future will lead us in an exercise to envision a positive future and set a planning process for getting there.
